The development of the Cascade XRS and S helmets represented a state-of-the-art approach to athlete protection, integrating cutting-edge engineering with refined design language. A central focus of this work was the advancement of 7Tech impact management technology, where a new methodology was created for mapping and geometrically scaling the system across varied headforms. This ensured consistent energy dispersion and performance across sizes without compromising fit, comfort, or aesthetics.
The helmet programs combined deep CAD development, iterative prototyping, and field/lab validation to balance protection, ventilation, sightlines, and brand identity. Each product advanced Cascade’s legacy of innovation, with the XRS and S becoming flagship models that defined industry standards for performance and reinforced the brand’s position as the leader in men’s lacrosse protection.
