Coverage requirements shift dramatically between XC trail riding and full-face downhill racing. Ventilation architecture has to balance airflow performance against structural integrity at impact zones. Visor geometry affects both aerodynamics and goggle integration. And the visual language of the category — aggressive surface breaks, bold venting patterns, extended rear coverage is earned through function, not applied for effect.
